The Practice

Workers' Compensation

The workers' compensation section was formed by Robert A. Kluczynski in 1978. Mr. Kluczynski was in an initial partnership with Mr. Girtz, who fashioned a separate workers' compensation section in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. Mr. Kluczynski structured the initial firm to provide insurers with rapid and cost effective representation. Kluczynski, Girtz, Zamler & McCubbrey is the by-product of the initial firm and currently has seven attorneys working within the specialty. Each attorney has from 10 to 35 years of experience in matters pertaining to case management, issue identification, cost containment and claim resolution.

Kluczynski, Girtz, Zamler & McCubbrey's associated professional corporation, Kluczynski, Girtz & Vogelzang every year in October hosts a comprehensive one day law seminar for its clients. During this event all attorneys from both firms invite magistrates and commissioners from the Workers' Compensation Agency to represent summaries of current issues in workers' disability compensation as well as trends. All seminar attendees receive a definitive reference of recent case law. This summary is a historical reference of significant caselaw decisions. Clients find this compilation to be an invaluable reference tool.
