Mr. Meyer received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Michigan State University in 1969. He was awarded the degree of Juris Doctor in 1978 by the Detroit College of Law. He has been associated with the law firm of Kluczynski, Girtz, Zamler & McCubbrey since 1992. Mr. Meyer is admitted to practice in the Federal Courts. He has also been a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Michigan. Mr. Meyer is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Prior to entering law school, Mr. Meyer was employed as a newspaper reporter. During his tenure as a reporter, he was awarded a fellowship in urban journalism at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Mr. Meyer also has claims experience as a group benefits representative and workers’ compensation representative at Chrysler Corporation from 1972 through 1979. During this time, he also worked as a labor relations representative at the plant and corporate levels. Mr. Meyer has specialized in the defense of workers’ compensation cases since 1980.
